Social Impact
Social Impact
Amputee's
The social impact project is a design project for our Fashion Studio Design module. The aim of the project is to pick a vulnerable group of members of society and design for their needs. I chose to design resort wear for amputee's. The resort wear that I have designs include solutions to the difficulties and discomfort amputee's face when purchasing clothing. I conducted research based around the discomfort all types of amputee's face when wearing and shopping for clothing and with this information I came up with valuable solutions.

Diffusion Line
Swimwear
The diffusion line is a project for our Fashion Studio Design module. The diffusion line that I designed is based on Swimwear. I designed the swimwear for Hawaii and Bali. The reason I designed the range based on these two holiday destinations is because my graduate collection's concept is Bali and my commercial wear collection's concept is Hawaii. In addition to the boho inspired swimwear, I also designed matching cover ups for the swimwear. There is a variety of different styles of bikini's and one pieces in my swimwear range. The fabrics used for the bikini's and one pieces are all lycra and are in all different floral and boho prints. The fabric used for the cover up's include, chiffon, spandex and cotton that are all in floral and boho prints. The bohemian elements such as plaiting, twisting, knotting, layering and tassels are all included in the swimwear line.

Board one shows croqui's illustrating the swimwear paired with cover ups. The gold binding on the edge of the cover ups brings in the luxurious element into the swimwear line
The variety of different style of one pieces and bikinis are illustrated in board 2.
